In his new role, he will direct the global operations of Intertek’s management systems certification group.

Moldovean will lead the continued growth of Intertek’s third- and second-party auditing services, and extend the company’s global network of management systems certification personnel. These efforts will allow Intertek to support a wider range of global and local industries.

Moldovean comes to Intertek from TÜV SÜD, where he was most recently their Vice President of Auditing and Medical Services for the NAFTA region. He holds an M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from Transilvania University (Brasov, Romania) and an MBA from Suffolk University (Boston, MA, USA).
