ISO TC 176 has approved by ballot the FDIS (Final Draft International Standard) version of ISO 9001:2008. This approval is the last step to be completed before the standard is published as a final International Standard (IS). We anticipate that the IS will be released within the next few weeks. At that time, all Intertek clients currently certified to ISO 9001 will be notified via email.

Additionally, TC 176 has released their Implementation Guidance for ISO 9001:2008 to provide further details on the transition.
