This webinar, presented by Intertek EMS project manager Jeff Eves, leads participants on a section-by-section overview of ISO 14001:2004, and how it differs from ISO 14001:1996. The webinar highlights the changes in each clause of the revised standard, and some of the challenges other organizations have experienced when implementing these changes. Mr. Eves also discusses the idea of the "process approach" (a systematic approach to managing the aspects of a specific process or function), as well as the legal requirements that must be considered when establishing, implementing, and maintaining an environmental management system (EMS).
